Tour Guide
we - here @ Unboxed Church - take the approach as if we are a tour guide.
We do not believe that we are able to make you a Christian - we cannot make a radical change in your life - we can just show you the path.
the birthing of a Christian - is the work of God. Our job is simple - we will, in love, come alongside you as you journey and decide on the Christian faith...
Your path is Unique ... different ... Holy ...
Every person's spiritual path is unique.
As a faith community, we will celebrate the good work that God has begun in you, and honor your unique walk toward faith. We will provide you with spiritual companions (called mentors) , and give you the time and space you need (weeks, months or years ) to:
- share your story and ask your questions.
- explore and experience the Christian way of life and practices
- discern and prepare for baptism (or affirmation of baptism).
- begin a lifetime walk with God and in community, as a whole life disciple of Jesus Christ.

in our tradition within the Christian faith , baptism is a sacrament that can be received at any age- from birth to death.
adults and older children who have been led to faith by the holy spirit may be baptized, as well as younger children and infants brought by parents and sponsors who with the whole community will nurture these children in the faith.
christian baptism is not so much 'a moment in time,' as it is spiritual birthing into a new way of life and community in Jesus Christ, that is accompanied, marked, and blessed.
We do not believe baptism will save you - it is however an outward sign of your faith. While we perform infant baptism - since we believe that Baptism is an outward sign and proclamation of faith in Christ- if you would like to elect to wait we will perform Baby Dedications as well.
Jesus - Son of ... God ... of Man ... the Servant... the Savior of the world
Our Savior is Jesus. He was Born - He Died - and He lives today. He is coming back again -
He is God - Jesus is the vision of God on Earth.
Jesus was the Son of man - He loved us so much that he came and experienced life - as a human !
Jesus is a servant. Just look @ his life - He came to serve us... and in turn - we have come to serve - you.
Jesus is the Savior of the world...
Let us introduce you to our savior - but don't worry : we don't believe in being pushy: we don't believe in forcing a religion down your throat... we are only a tour guide... on your quest for faith and God.
