Services:
Social Work staff assesses complaints for abuse, neglect and exploitation of older persons residing in their own homes, apartments or with others in private residences in the community. Staff provides or arranges for services necessary to protect vulnerable adults. These services may include emergency medical care, food, placement in a boarding or residential health care facility, arrangements for homemaker/home health care, supportive counseling and other legal actions. Social Workers make follow-up visits to review the situation and see that services are in place.

Provides bilingual information/referral services, emergency housing,
clothing, household items, essential prescriptions and other essential items. These services are intended to provide clients with a “safety-net. Also provides case management to foster long-term independence. Also offers a bilingual social day program to senior residents of Camden City.

Services:
E.A.S.E. includes an emergency food shelf, a lending closet of medical appliances and a shut-in shopping program. E.A.S.E. offers assistance with fuel, utility payments and emergency shelter.
The Food Shelf offers a three-to-five-day supply of nonperishable food items to seniors experiencing financial difficulties.
The Lending Closet provides certain medical appliances for up to a three-month period. During this time the client is expected to purchase an appliance through their medical coverage.
The Shut-in Shopping Program offers bi-monthly grocery shopping for homebound senior citizens. This service is provided by community trained volunteers who go to various supermarkets for the clients.
Fuel, Utility Payments and Emergency Shelter Benefits are determined on a case-by-case basis according to the client's financial situation.
Funding provided through: Camden County Division of Senior Services, Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Corporate Sponsors, Local Donations and FEMA Funds.

A 74-bed transitional housing facility for homeless men. The program includes counseling and case management, life skill classes, drug and alcohol intervention, education and employment referrals, recreational enrichment and transportation. Medical services are provided through the University of Medicine and Dentistry and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. Center also includes a 25-bed Safe Haven for individuals needing emergency overnight assistance and an Outreach Program
